This is one of the most happening places due to many reasons, be it hiking/trekking, Bird watching, exploring the beauty of Himalayas and we’re covering them all.

This place is famous for many reasons:

1. Tungnath, one of the highest Lord Shiva Temples in the world.
2. Chandrashila peak
3. Deoriatal hike.
4. Birding  

One can do the hikes while doing birding as well. Since the altitude is quite high, the species are very different here and one might be able to see more than 300 species over the year.

How to reach:

This place is quite far from Delhi and even the closest airport is more than 200KMs away. Hence, if you want to join for this location, please plan well before time. That said, one can take a flight till Dehradun and then hire a taxi for this location. Or you can also start from Delhi and do a road journey of 16 hours to reach the location.

How many days one should plan for?

4-5 days are enough if you’re planning for hiking/trekking.

If you want to do bird watching or want to club it with trekking, 5-6 days will be sufficient.
